April's Little Family is So VERY Blessed.
This year will mark the third home-cooked Thanksgiving prepared by ME. I was the head of operations once in grad school and then, again, the first year Hubs and I were married. So... it's been a while. In the intervening years, we've attended Thanksgiving at my parents' house and been blissfully duty free. What follows are some of my very favorite pictures from last year's Thanksgiving celebration.
I went black & white cause I'mso very lame sentimental like that.

I have been married for over 12 years and have not yet had to cook the Thanksgiving dinner. I bring side dishes like green bean casserole and a dessert, but other than that it is my mom who does most of it. Now that we live 700 miles away, I make sure we are together for turkey, cuz there is nothing like my moms cooking :) besides, Id rather eat it than cook it.
Hi April! I love your fun blog - great pictures of your gorgeous family. This is our first Thanksgiving in the USA - I think we'll still be eating Halloween candy! Hugs to you!
Good luck to you! I haven't cooked a "real" Thanksgiving dinner in years, but my hubby and I do "dry run" Thanksgiving every year just a few weeks prior to the big event. We buy our own small bird and then whip up a Thanksgiving feast for us and our two kids. We just can't wait until the big day!
I love these photos and I love that they're black and white!
I really have no family to celebrate holidays with so on Thanksgiving I usually sit at home alone and watch the Macy's day parade. But oh the day after all my friends come over and eat Thanksgiving again with me! I cook everything from the Turkey all the way down to the corn! :) But now that I am with the wife it will be me and her for Thanksgiving the day after. But Thanksgiving day I have to go endure her family. (Don't get me wrong I love her family, I am just not into family oreinted things)
Hello! I'm coming over from SITS! What adorable pictures!! I don't have to prepare Thanksgiving meals yet, and I'm thankful, because I'm not that great at cooking!
I so enjoyed looking at the pictures. You don't even have to post an article. The pictures speaks for themselves! awesome! Anyway, just hoppin over here from SITS! hope you have a wonderful weekend and yeah lots of luck on your next thanksgiving cooking fear! :)
Great photos!!! So great that you prepare the meal yourself... how fun!
Beautiful pictures!
That picture of you at the top is GORGEOUS. :)
@ lisa: i don't mind cooking, as long as someone will watch the kids. nothing worse than trying to put a meal together with babies on hip and underfoot!
