I am Thankful to NOT Be Shopping on Black Friday. Okay, I Totally Shopped. But It Was In My Jammies From My Computer. Totally Not the Same.

I am also thankful for: Curious little boys. Sweet smelling baby girls. On demand television. Big families. Digital cameras. Doting husbands. Okay, just one of those. Battery operated infant swings. Play-doh. Grandparents. Sleep. Not that I get much these days. Holiday music. Good food. Yarn. Friends. Friends that really aren't friends any more, but actually family. Family. MY family. And, of course, coffee.

The Lupus Groupus.

This is my sister, Sally. She was diagnosed with Lupus at age twelve. Thanks to good living, a little luck and amazing medical professionals, Sally is doing great. And she wants you to know more about Lupus. Because a lot of people have Lupus. And Dr. House is wrong. Sometimes it IS Lupus.

My Little Computer Junkie...

We have several kid "computers" that Casey absolutely adores.
I think they're great because he's learning and enjoying himself. I
worry sometimes, though, that he's too "plugged in" at such a young age.

What do you think? Is he gaining valuable (and necessary) skills?
Or am I being a lazy parent? Maybe a little bit of both? (Please be nice...)
