Speaking of friends who are no longer friends, but actually family, we took an afternoon jaunt to Melbourne yesterday and visited Erin, Nick and Merrick. It's so nice to know people who's home feels like your own. No pretenses.
While the men were being manly with beer and football, Erin and I loaded the boys in the car and headed to the beach for some sandy fun. We made it very clear on the way over that it was much to cold out to go in the water. BWAHAHAHA.
The kids had a blast, but while watching them scream into the wind and skip along the (not at all warm) tide, we agreed good moms probably would have thought to bring warm drinks, some snacks and maybe a change of clothes.
Or, at the very least a towel.

Love love love it.
Definitely fun mom! When you live in Florida, you can go to the beach without towels and no one will think poorly of you. I can't tell you how many impromptu beach trips we have taken sans bathing suits, towels, or food! Just go home afterward, cuddle up under a blanket and drink some hot chocolate. Its all good :)
Fun mom for sure!!!!
Fun Moms for sure!! :)
lol, cute! Definitely fun mom! Your kids won't remember being wet or cold...or even a little bit hungry...they WILL remember the fun they had though!
