A Typical Exchange.

Yogurt Paint!
Mommy: "Boys, would you like to paint? I can make paint with yogurt!"

Casey: "I no want yogurt paint, Mom. I want REAL paint."

Jonathan: "Yeah! REAL paint, Mom."

Mommy: "Okay, here's some REAL paint." (handing them yogurt paint).

Casey: "Thanks, Mom. I no like yogurt paint."

Jonathan: "Yeah... no like yogurt paint."

(about three minutes go by)

Jonathan: "Mommy... I eat the paint?"

I have never heard of yogurt paint. My kids have painted with pudding before, but not yogurt. How do you make it?

Q-Tip brushes ... Great idea! (Because, of course, I can never find enough paintbrushes when it's painting time. Or if I can, I can never find the yellow one and only the yellow one will do, don't you know?

That's too cute! I haven't ever made Alex anything edible to paint / play with just because.... so far he hasn't been confused about eating the real stuff and I don't want to mess him up. But I think yogurt paint, pudding paint, and edible playdough all sound awesome! :)

Whoa. I thought I was clever using pudding. But you are clever AND health conscious. Okay, you win!
