I think big families are the bombdiggity. Which, in case you aren't schooled in totally outdated slang, means I really really love them. So, you can imagine how very pleased I am that Sally, one of my favorite sisters, is about ready to give me another niece or nephew. Yes, I am that self centered. It's pretty much all about me. I mean, it IS my little family. Right?
So a weekend or two ago her best friend, Danielle, and Danielle's mom, Mary (of the ever so spectacular, but sadly not present at this event Mother Mary's Anyshower Punch You In The Face Best Drink Ever), threw Sal Gal a baby shower. It was pretty awesome. We played a great game of baby inspired pictionary and a not as great game of nursery rhyme riddles. Mostly the riddle game wasn't fun because I lost. And even though the punch was sadly not in attendance, the food was super duper good. I will have to steal Ms. Mother Mary's broccoli pasta salad recipe for you toot sweet. (translation: right this very now).
