This is What Happens When You're Nine Months Pregnant and Try to Take an Overhead Food Shot.

Slow Cooker Corn and Potato Chowder
Jonathan woke up at 10pm last night in a feverish delirium asking to go outside and play. "Don't worry, Mom. It's okay because I will be on the PATIO, not in the yard."

Ummm, right. No.

Thankfully, I remembered to pick up more play-doh yesterday and also Leap Frog cartridges were on sale, so my impulse buy of two new learning games has been our saving grace today. You know, since we are awesomely confined to our house yet again. Thanks Target for making it nearly impossible not to overspend.

I also broke down and *finally* bought one (very small) package of newborn diapers, as we are slowly coming to the realization that there may actually be another human being joining us shortly. I'm still on the fence about things though, I could just be bloated.

So, as I type this post, in a fit of "PLEASE. PLEASE. PLEASE. don't let this plague ruin our plans to visit Disney one last time before the impending arrival of "YOU WILL NOT LEAVE THE HOUSE DURING COLD AND FLU SEASON WITH A NEWBORN," I am roasting two and a half pounds of garlic cloves and drinking vitamin C infused grapefruit juice by the half gallon.

Wish I were kidding.

On a funnier, and yet somewhat alarmingly dangerous note, Wesley introduced the kids to bull riding. Which resulted in this:

Bull Riding
Bull Riding
Bull Riding
Bull Riding
Bull Riding

Hahahaha LOVE the bull riding. And please ask me how not leaving the house with a VERY bored three and a half year old during cold and flu season is going.
