Surprise Cubed. Alternately Titled, Surprise, Surprise, Surprise.

I like to spring things on my kids. Mostly it's fun stuff, like a trip to the splash pad or a special ice cream treat, but occasionally it's booster shots. What?, it's good to keep them on their toes!

So Thursday when I announced we would be embarking on a weekend of surprises after my doctor's appointment, the news was met with mostly excitement and a wee hint of trepidation. Ah, the perfect combination for a quiet car ride. Not to worry folks, these were good surprises!

First we hit Melbourne to spend an afternoon with our buddies Erin, Nick, and Merrick. After that it was off to south Florida for a weekend jaunt with my parents and then in the morning we picked up the kids' cousin(-in-law), Sophia, for a day-o-fun!
