I'm sure you all remember my sister, Sally. Well, this past weekend was all mostly about her. We trucked it down to south Florida and participated in the Walk for Lupus Now event. I wasn't sure we would make it, considering the high drama of the past few weeks, but we did. And I'm glad we did. (I'm also glad my dad loves his grandkids enough to get up with them at 5AM so I don't have to. Thanks, Dad!)
Anyway. Sally's team was a raging success. With 30 + members, she raised nearly $3,000.00 for Lupus research. Fantastic. She also threw an awesome after party. Woot! So, thanks sincerely to those of you who supported the cause. It's a good one, I promise.
