I'm in a weepy state of life right now thanks to first trimester hormones. So, to avoid the risk of shorting out my keyboard, I'm only going to say how great it was that in the face of such a sad event, everyone was able to come together and enjoy one another's company.

It's funny how that works. My grandmother's funeral was one of the best family gatherings in the past ten years. xo.
