Indentured Servitude Has Not Gone Out of Style. In Fact, It's Quite Vogue.

Um, cleaning is not exactly my forte. The only reason we routinely have fresh underwear and sparkly dishes, is because Hubs eventually gets fed up with my disgustingness and does it himself. I'm not exactly the ideal housewife.

Oops.

Fortunately, we are training the minions. I figure within the next year or two they will take over the chores, Duggar style.

Sweet.

Now we just need 16 more.

Well... they do say that a clean house is a sign of a wasted life, don't they? :)

I made my son vaccum today. You'd have thought I set him on fire by the sound of the screams. And my daughter pretty much just laughed at me when I told her to clean upstairs. She was all like, in your state I'd like to see you chase me up the stairs to make me do it.

Total. Parenting. Fail.

When can he get over here? Tell him to bring a friend or twenty, please.

I guess I must be lucky. One of my 8 year olds LOVES doing the laundry. He practically begs me to do it, even when I don't have any to do!

I hate cleaning the house, but if I don't do it, no one will. DH just sits on his ass and complains that it's "dirty" (our definitions of dirty are different) but doesn't bother to help me clean anything. He doesn't even take out the trash!

I, like you, am training the boys to help clean :)

This is AWESOME.

Although I think you can get by with fewer than the Duggars. Another eight or nine should be plenty.
