It Only Seems Fitting...

...that Family Feud was, and is, my favorite game show. You can't beat two screaming families pitted against each other trying to figure out how 100 random whackos answered some really obscure question. And let's please not forget the especially handsy host, who is ever-changing, but consistent in his perviness.

Why, you ask, is this show fitting? Well, take last night for example. The family celebrated an early Thanksgiving at my parents' place. Following dinner a game of Balderdash ensued. (Balderdash, for those who aren't familiar consists of all but one player making up definitions to obscure words. The player not making up definitions has the task of reading the other players submissions and everyone votes on which answer they think is the 'real' one.) My mother was the reader.

After a few drinks, my brother became bored with the game and decided to have a little fun at Mom's expense. In each of his definitions he added the words 'Big Black Cock'. Apparently he (and everyone else at the table) thought it was ever-so-funny to hear my mom read the phrase 'Big Black Cock' (and sometimes 'Big Muscular Cock', etc. etc.) repeatedly. Oh, I should probably add that her mother (my grandmother) was also sitting at the table.

I am so *very* lucky to have hit the sack before this little gem, but I have been privy to (and taken part in) many a similar spectacle.
