Civic Duty? Done, Did.

Erin was all up my ass this morning to vote - why, I'll never understand since I'm just canceling out her vote, but hey, whatevs - so I called Keri who kindly accepted my invitation to babysit JJ while I voted accompany me to the early polling venue. We waited in line for about an hour and a half and then called the luckiest man alive Hubs to come over with Casey and trade places with Keri. Casey and Keri played with puzzles in the kids section of the library while Hubs and I (& the J-man) went in and voted for The Right Candidate. After voting, Keri and I took the little guys to the mall for some lunch and mayhem.

In the evening we met Elaine and Craig with their two girls at Tijuana Flats. Mmmmm. It was a good dinner with great company and nice weather. Now the kids are sleeping and I'm eating my first third ice cream sandwich. F-ck you Publix for putting them on sale.

I cannot wait to vote Tuesday. Yes, I am waiting until the actual day. It is more exciting for me that way. Besides, I am always up for an excuse to not work for a few hours considering I work at home :)

Well, at least you went and voted... it's an important right and responsibility. :) I have to wait until Tuesday when every other person from Michigan is out there as well.

Yeah to you for voting.

The hubs & I voted by mail early. Since he takes it much more seriously than I do he got his ballot in a week earlier than I did. Please don't think that I underestimate the importance of voting. I'm just lazy.
