Peace Out 2008.

I'm not so much sorry to see 2008 end as I am bummed that 2009 has to begin so soon. It's like when you're pregnant and then you have the baby. Shouldn't there be some reprieve in the interim. Shouldn't there BE an interim?

I'd like to tell you posting will be regular and voluminous in the coming days, but that is unlikely. I have cousins and parents and siblings and second cousins and boyfriends and husbands arriving tomorrow. I will be a busy *happy* little mommy and I may not find the time to blog about it.

But then, maybe I will.

Eventually I want to tell you we had a fantastic christmas and nice long visit with my parents in south Florida. We hit Metro Zoo in Miami, the Science Center in Orlando and the Brevard Zoo in Melbourne this past couple weeks. We've also frequented several parks, skinned a few knees, almost lost Ms. Izzie (to what we suspect was nicotine poisoning) and have finally recovered from the plague.

Soon you will learn about all those things. But in the meantime, I leave you with this:
