Winter - Florida Style

Occasionally it gets coolish in central Florida and you'd better believe we jump all over that monkey's back.  Fire!  Marshmallows!  Hurrah!  I took last year's failures to heart and set up the fire in the driveway.  Read = near the kitchen. And stocked us with plenty of blankets.  Also, skipped the hot dogs and went straight for the delicious sugary stuff.  And left the baby inside.  Also, wine.  Plenty of wine.

Thanksgiving 2013

My family is imperfect.  It's loud and often cranky.  We yell and make each other cry.  But when it comes down to it - when you get to the core of things - we love each other.  Like really really love each other.

I am thankful for my incredible good fortune to be blessed with a family, and extended family, that is wonderful and loving and supportive.  

I'm not wealthy, but I am rich beyond measure.
