After a slow start, I took the boys to Burger King for lunch, compliments of The Parent Bloggers Network (thank you!). Afterward, we headed to our usually park haunt - but in transit I decided I just couldn't spend another afternoon in the same place doing the same thing at the same time and seeing the same people... so, we went off the beaten path (ok, it was paved, I'm not being literal) and found ourselves at a new park! And, even better, it was an EMPTY park! We played for about an hour and then I called a friend who lives near the park and we stopped in for a quick hello.
After hanging with Tom & Ms. Maribeth for a while, I swung by the house to get Hubs and we all met up with the DiCarolis clan at Flats for an enjoyable outdoor dinner in the mild fall weather that makes Florida summers worthwhile.
