Shame on Me.

Some things I have guilt over and the little ways I *try* to redeem myself.

Guilt: I'm too cheap to pay $15 for my 22mo to get a haircut & I'm too wussy to cut it myself.
Redemption: I bought a bottle of hair gel at the Dollar Tree and now he's stylin'.

Guilt: My kids watch too much t.v.
Redemption: We take walks (almost) every day. And we frequent the local park.

Guilt: We don't recycle.
Redemption: We use canvas shopping bags and refillable water bottles.

Guilt: I let the boys eat junk food.
Redemption: I sneak fruits, vegetables & whole grains into their "junk food" whenever possible.

OK, fess up. What are your guilty secrets and what do you do to make them a little less awful?

Oh so many guilty pleasures. I don't watch a whole lot of tv, but when I find a show I like, I get hooked really easy. So, while watching I fold laundry or make cards- that cancels out the sitting and "doing nothing".:)

Just wanted to say thanks for visiting my blog, come back soon!

Thanks for confessing. Ummm...I spend way too much time on the computer. So then I'll try to do something like practicing the piano or do some kind of work that needs to be done, so at least the whole day hasn't gone to waste :p

I'm with you on the TV. We used to only let my son watch one show a day and now he's up to three, sometimes four. Eek. My five month old will sit there mesmerized by Blues Clues, even though I know it's terrible for her. We're going to try to go back to one show a day, wish us luck!

Too funny :)
#2 child isn't a big eater...I figure if he eats, it's better than nothing, no matter what! Of course I push the healthy stuff, but if he comes to me with a box of wheat thins, it's a go.
