Despite being in the throes of nasty cold, Casey was in a great mood and super happy to be at Grandma and Grandpa's house. He spent the day playing blocks in the family room, chasing Izzie around the kitchen and dipping his feet in the pool. Uncle Casey came up from Miami to visit and Aunt Jessie and Uncle Damon arrived too. There were so many people to play with, Casey's head was spinning!
During the day, Casey played at the house while JJ and I ran errands with Grandma Diane. We hit Costco and picked up food for the weekend and also 'thank-you' steaks for Enrique (Sally's significant something or other). By the end of our Costco trip I knew I had contracted the plague. I felt horribly run down and that tell-tale drip drip began in the back of my throat. *sigh*
When we got home, Dreena and Grandpa (my mom's parents) came by and Enrique (who I lovingly call 'Ricky') and his brother came over to meet me and the boys. After Enrique left, Sally called on Skype from Madrid and we did a family video call!
Check out the giant cookie Casey ripped out of my hands and ran away with while I was on the phone. *tsk tsk* Good thing we were at Grandma's or that would've resulted in a time-out.
